Job Description
The ICT Department is seeking a qualified and motivated Assistant Professor in Information and Communications Technology to teach undergraduate courses and support academic and research initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in areas such as programming, networking, database systems, and web technologies. The role also includes curriculum development, student mentoring, academic advising, and participation in departmental and institutional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate ICT courses such as Programming, Database Systems, and Networking
Develop course materials, assessments, and learning resources
Supervise student projects and research activities
Participate in curriculum review and improvement
Engage in academic research and community extension programs
Attend faculty meetings and institutional activities
Preferred Certifications
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or similar IT certification
TESDA Trainer Methodology (preferred)
Required Licenses
Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT) – preferred but not required
Relevant Professional Affiliations
Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE)
Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
Philippine Computer Society (PCS)
